BEAR SIGHTINGS
In longer workshops, I often give participants the homeplay assignment of turning their experiences into poems. I always do my own assignments. Here’s a poem I wrote during a recent workshop in the Sierra foothills of California, in an area where black bears are sometimes seen, inspired by a series of powerful visionary encounters with the Bear as an ally in healing.
