"I became aware of you through "Dreamways of the Iroquois" almost 3 years ago while traveling the country with my wife.  Patricia, the love of my life, died a year ago after extended illness. We had been together everyday in work and life for over 14 years.  Her death deposited me into a place where I wasn’t sure how many interior resources I had left to return to the world. 

I almost didn’t come to the Writer’s Retreat. Yet, I did – with considerable skepticism. I have been around the spiritual track several time. I experienced Robert’s unique and exceedingly rich approach to life and writing.  His endlessly playful, validating, challenging, and on-point stories were offered with a depth and generosity that I have never experienced before.
